Paris is the Fashion capital of the world, and this Spring, I’ve noticed a new trend amongst the usual Spring looks of florals that is expected every season, a strong nod to “plaid during the Spring”. It isn’t common to see plaid as a real “street style” trend in the Spring, plaid is usually associated with the Fall and Winter seasons .
This year in Paris tho…. the Spring has been chilly and this trend renaissance is the newest eye catcher this Spring, the most revalant I’ve noticed in the most assorted colours than in previous seasons. Spring Plaid 2021 adapted the heavy woollen lumberjack jackets and stretched them to “trench coat length” and designed them for easy wearing, tartan included. We all want to stay warm and comfy, right? It worked!
I see a lot of assorted versions of new Spring colours such as pinks, beiges and yellows. Plaid in trench coat, plaid in bucket hats, Fashion doesn’t have any rules.
We can wear white after Labor day and we can wear Plaid for Spring. This trend is “right now” on the streets of Paris. What do you say, thumbs up?
